What started as creating personalized pieces for family and friends has blossomed into a full-service embroidery business. Inspired by generations of heirloom textiles, Murnane Monograms specializes in a wide range of projects—from tote bags and linens to branded items—each stitched with precision and care.
A unique focus of the business is on-site embroidery experiences for events, where guests can interact with the embroidery process and leave with a custom piece to treasure. These experiences allow Murnane Monograms to bring personalization and craftsmanship directly to clients, creating memorable moments that go beyond the finished item.

Meet Amy
Murnane Monograms is owned and operated by Amy Murnane, a lifelong creative whose work is deeply influenced by her background in music, family life, and a love for meaningful craftsmanship.
Before creating Murnane Monograms, Amy studied music therapy and spent over 25 years teaching piano, leading music classes, and performing. That foundation shaped her approach to her work today—patient, detail-oriented, and intentional in every stitch.
Amy’s journey into embroidery began early, inspired by her mother, a quilter, and a childhood surrounded by fabric and handmade pieces. What started as creating personalized items for her own children gradually evolved into a business in 2017, operating out of her home in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As friends, family, and eventually clients requested her work, Murnane Monograms grew into a full-service embroidery business, serving a wide range of projects and life moments. Many of those early relationships remain today, a reflection of the trust and care she brings to each project.
A particular passion of Amy’s is creating on-site embroidery experiences for events, where guests can interact with the embroidery process and leave with a custom keepsake. These experiences bring personalization and craftsmanship directly to clients, creating memorable moments that go beyond the finished piece.
As a mother of five, Amy designs her business around the same values she lives by—comfort, connection, and intention. She believes in creating pieces that become part of people’s lives, whether it’s a meaningful gift, a family heirloom, or a personalized item used every day. Her philosophy is simple: if she can help create something meaningful for someone, she will—and that belief is woven into every piece that leaves her hands.
